[Feature Request] Add More Google Fonts to Lunacy

OS: Kubuntu 24.04 (Linux)

Could you guys add more Google fonts to Lunacy? I’ve looked at and compared the Google fonts available in Lunacy and Figma. There’s a huge difference in the number of fonts. Lunacy has very few Google fonts.

I hope more will be added. I believe this will be very useful for users of Lunacy Web and Lunacy on Linux or operating systems other than Windows.

On my Linux system, many system fonts aren’t detected by Lunacy—even ones I just installed. So, I plan to rely on the Google fonts available in Lunacy, but there are too few to explore.

If you add more Google Fonts to Lunacy, perhaps users won’t take system font compatibility issues as seriously because they’ll rely on Google Fonts instead.

You can use all the Google Fonts available in Figma as a reference for adding them to Lunacy.

Thanks for pointing this out! Some fonts might not display because their metadata may have copyright restrictions on embedding. That being said, we’ll look into this issue and see whether we’ll be able to do something about it in the future.
