Hi! I’m a teacher, and while looking for basic geometric shapes (in the “Color” style), I noticed that you have a triangle, circle, rectangle, etc.—but surprisingly, no square!
There is a rhombus icon (https://icons8.com/icon/13379/rhombus
), but it’s not really intuitive as a substitute. If someone could simply rotate it to make it a regular square while keeping the same style, that would be perfect.
The geometric shapes are listed in the “editing” set, under the “Forms” section.
But this seems like a basic and important shape, so I thought I’d ask here first.
Thanks a lot!
P.S.: Actually it would be nice to have some more basic geometric shapes: non-square rhombus, kite, parallelogram, trapezoid, different types of triangles (equilateral, isosceles, right-angled triangle, scalene)
Hi Lorange!
It’s definitely surprising that there’s no square icon. I’ve attached the rotated icon for you. If you’d like to make any small adjustments, you can use our icon editor.
Thanks so much! I’m currently working on an educational project that will be using icons already available on the Icons8 site. It would be amazing if you could add this basic square icon to the existing collection. Even better would be to take this opportunity to include some additional basic geometric shapes that are currently missing, such as non-square rhombus, kite, parallelogram, trapezoid, and various types of triangles (equilateral, isosceles, right-angled, and scalene).
For an educational project, the best way is to submit a free request. It may take a little time for the team to process, but we’ll get to it as soon as possible.
As another option, you can try Lunacy to create the shapes you need.
