Distable Margins and Distances

Hi, I cannot hide/disable the margins/distances capability. This started happening today after upgrading to 5.8. The margins/distances are displayed each time I drag or move objects using the mouse or keyboard arrows, The distance/margin numbers are larger which is great, but I don’t need it to display every time I move an object.

I’m not using the “Alt” as the shortcut key when dragging the object. It’s almost like the Alt key is continuously held down.

It’s making it very difficult to see where to move objects. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, the behavior you’ve described is an expected one.
Thank you for letting us know your opinion though, we understood your complaints and are currently checking what we can do to make this feature more convenient for our users.
