Drag move layers?

I’m trying to switch from Sketch and can’t find a way to drag move things around without having to click directly on the selected object on the canvas first. In Sketch I’d just hold cmd+alt and click drag from anywhere, without worrying about z-index or selecting something else - is there a similar shortcut in Lunacy that I’m missing??

Currently, Lunacy doesn’t have an exact equivalent to Sketch’s Cmd+Alt drag shortcut.
We’ve noted your request, and will consider adding something similar in one of the future updates :rocket:

I’ve been wondering about this too while testing Lunacy for UI work. In Sketch, being able to drag a selected object from anywhere without worrying about layer overlap or accidentally selecting another element makes the workflow much faster, especially in complex layouts. Is there maybe a hidden modifier key or an alternative workflow in Lunacy that helps lock the current selection while moving layers around? It would be really useful for projects with lots of grouped or overlapping elements.

Thanks for the detailed suggestion. To make sure we’re understanding the workflow correctly, could you record a short screencast showing what you’re trying to do (how it works in Sketch) versus what happens in Lunacy?
