Lunacy has an object oriented model for creating drawings. That means you can not select some part of an object and just erase it. Instead you may play with properties of the object - such as to stretch it, change its color, orientation etc. and of cause if need it - select it, delete it and create a new one.

You can also create another object of any form and basically use that as a rubber. Make the object cover over what you want to erase, then use Boolean Operations > Subtract. Obs; Does not work with photos. With photos you need to select the photo > Edit > Cut with pen tool.
