I have my GitHub student developer pack activated and icons8 is a part of it. There is also a website where we have to sign in with GitHub and continue to get a 3-month license.

But after signing in, the Registration just does not happen, even after filling in my email and setting a password and then clicking on the Complete Registration button once or multiple times, the registration just does not happen.

I wonder what is causing this. Is there something wrong with the website? I would really appreciate any help .

BTW, could you share the steps that led you to the GitHub activation error, please?

Hi, I’m having the same issue as others described.

Here are the steps that led me to the activation error:

1. I visited the GitHub Student Developer Pack and clicked on the Icons8 link ( Get access by connecting your GitHub account on Icons8 ).
2. I was redirected to a page on the Icons8 website where there’s a button (Signup with Github)
3. When I clicked, I saw a signup form. I entered the same email address used on GitHub.
4. Lastly, I was redirected to an empty page. The link in the address bar showed an “undefined” domain. Here’s the link: https://undefined/github-students?utm_source=Github&utm_medium=hyperlink&utm_campaign=Github+Student+Pack

I got an email from Icons8 with the confirmation, but nothing on my account mentions access to the 3-month license.

I sent you a DM with a screenshot of my GitHub student section and the email I received from Icons8.

Sorry to hear that. Please send us a screenshot of your GitHub profile showing your active Student Developer Pack in a DM, and we’ll activate your plan manually.

Good news, everyone! We’ve sorted out that GitHub deal activation issue, and here’s how to get it working

1. First, make sure GitHub has you verified as a student.
2. Then, sign up for their Student Developer Pack.
3. Once your profile is verified and your Developer Pack is active, head over to our landing page.
4. Click the orange ‘Sign in with GitHub’ button and use your GitHub email.

5. Please note that you have to use the GitHub sign-in method, not Google, Apple, or regular email/pass, because that’s how we verify the offer.
6. After you’re logged in, your three-month sub will start automatically.

If your student account isn’t verified or your Developer Pack isn’t active, it won’t work until those steps are done. Also, this deal is a one-time thing. If you’ve used it before, it won’t reactivate.

As this is a free subscription, proper attribution is required for all downloaded content.
