Mobile Functionality Issue with Lunacy

Hi, I’m creating a project where I want to prototype a potential mobile app. I tested a hotspot, and it works great on my Desktop and in the browser, but when I test on my mobile device, it’s not working.

I have a simple setup where when I click a button, it should proceed to the next frame.

I noticed that under the Prototype options, there’s an option for “On Click” but not for “On Tap”, which I figured may be the issue here.

When I tap the start button on my mobile device, it instead attempts to pan the entire screen and doesn’t register my click/tap. Is there anything wrong with my setup, or is Lunacy exclusive to desktop without the ability to test on mobile?

I’m currently using Google Chrome with Android version 13 on a Moto G Stylus phone.

Hi Eevee,

There’s nothing wrong with your setup. Touch device compatibility is still in the works. It’s in our backlog, but there’s no specific ETA on this, I’m afraid.

Thanks for confirming that, Evan! I’m glad to hear that there are plans to implement this eventually. I know you mentioned that you don’t have any specific ETA on it, but I’m curious, do you have any type of roadmap of future features that’s public-facing? If there’s anywhere you can point me that would have updates on features like this that are currently being looked into, that’d be super helpful. I’m currently trying to gauge if Lunacy is the product I should use for prototyping mobile games at my company.

Thank you!

Sure! You can check out our public backlog here: https://icons8.com/lunacy-backlog. It’s the best place to see what we’re working on and what’s planned for the future.
