Selected text is being deleted when focusing on some other window

I made a simple design and started making some markup for it.
I double clicked on some text to copy it and then focused a vscodium window to paste it.
After I did that selected text in lunacy got deleted.

this consistently happens every time I am trying to do it with any text node.
It does not occur when I change focus inside text node or when I select some part of the text.

I recorded a short video of this bug to help identifying it

This might be os or display server specific.
I am using Fedora linux 42 on wayland
This bug occurs in a flatpak version lunacy 11.6
