YouTube Copyright Claim

I paid the $9 for a song from Icons8 (Space Exploration by Reminiscor), purchased on receipt # 1431-9623. After using it in a video I got a Copyright Claim. I disputed it, including the receipt number, except the dispute was denied. The video can be found here: https://youtu.be/HIBnhHwuHig

What can I do to get rid of that? I can’t see myself using or suggesting this site if Icons8, or the artist in question, is going to deny my dispute after paying.

Hello,

I am sorry about this problem with your video!

We have contacted the author of that track to help you remove the claim. I hope we will be able to solve this issue soon.

We don’t recommend using tracks with a Content ID label on YouTube because these tracks are registered in the copyright database. If you want to avoid this issue in the future, it is better to choose tracks with no labels.

Hi,

Not sure if I were supposed to start a new thread for the same situation. I paid a monthly subscription to download music and I used the song “Your Melody” from Simon Christenko. There are no Content Id or Pro codes next to it. But YouTube gives me a Copyright Claim for it.

Hi,

We have contacted the author for the help to remove the claim from your video! For now, please dispute the claim with the following message: “The track was legally obtained from Icons8’s Fugue website: https://icons8.com/music/" Here is the instruction on how to dispute a claim: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2797454?hl=en-GB, it should solve the issue.
